Originally from northwest Arkansas, Benjamin got to Texas as quickly as he was able and grew up north of San Antonio in nearby Spring Branch. While studying finance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, he was able to gain hands-on experience through a variety of internships across the financial advising space. As a captain for the university’s track &field program, he developed leadership skills and a lasting conviction that the world is changed not by our opinion, but by our example.

After graduating, Ben began his career in wealth management and financial planning; earning a reputation for his thorough, detail-oriented approach. His commitment to turning over every stone, coupled with a deeply rooted passion for helping people, shaped his client-first philosophy toward financial planning and behavioral investment counseling. These principles ultimately led him to Cornermen Financial, where he works alongside a team of like-minded professionals to serve clients with care and diligence.

Outside of the office, Ben lives in San Antonio and can be found either on the golf course, with his guitar working toward his second album, or watching sports with his crazy mutts.

From August of 2025 to March of 2026, Benjamin completed theCFP® Certification Education Program through Danko Education. He subsequently sat for and passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Board of Standards exam. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Benjamin is uniquely qualified to educate, navigate complex financial decisions, develop comprehensive plans, and assist clients in pursuing their long-term goals.
